This project was done to update and redesign some of the main signs that are found around the Forest Park Nature Center in Peoria, Illinois.
Background
During a trip to the Forest Park Nature Center, I noticed that a lot of the signs throughout the park did not match, were outdated, or were just hard to read.
Problem
Signs that do not look cohesive or are hard to read may be overlooked by visitors, and outdated signs may lack current information that could be useful to visitors.
Solution
As a solution, I designed a set of signs that follow the same branding, had updated and current information, and are easy to understand.
Outcome
This project resulted five newly-designed sign mockups.
