UNIID is an augmented reality app that helps students navigate throughout their campus.
Background
Since a lot of college campuses are large and contain a lot of buildings, it can be hard for students to navigate. Because of this, I wanted to create a campus navigation made for college students.
Problem
Some students have a hard time navigating through their college campus. Getting a new class schedule, or starting at a new school can become daunting and stressful to students if they are not aware of where to go on campus.
Solution
Using augmented reality, UNIID is able to navigate users to any place on campus. After a location is selected, the mobile app guides its users with AR.
UNIID also allows for users to be able to look up buildings on campus as well current events that may be happening at the school.
Outcome
This project resulted a high fidelity prototype of the UNIID mobile app.
